活動簡介：

現居於印度達蘭薩拉流亡圖博（西藏）社區的女歌手──葛莎雀吉，自小生長於音樂世家，是圖博戲劇表演學校（TIPA）畢業的出眾獨唱音樂家，她致力於發揚傳統圖博音樂，唱出屬於圖博靈魂的聲音，在圖博傳統文化漸失的今日，彌足珍貴。1990年代起，在歐洲、美國、台灣、香港等地巡迴演唱，廣受好評；2000年之後也常為達賴喇嘛獻唱，被尊者譽為最會唱歌的圖博女歌手。

此次來台表演活動中，尚包含其他四名專業樂手、舞者。其中之一為拓丹嘉措，是一位具有全方位音樂才華的圖博傳統音樂家，精於演奏與獨唱，也經常與不同文化的音樂家共同創作，表演形式多變，獲得高度讚賞。另有敦煌舞者陳玠廷的舞蹈表演，以其柔軟纖美的身影，揮舞於清柔深邃的歌聲中；以及非洲鼓手段世同、陳錦輝。他們將以跨界的音樂屬性搭配藏族樂風，共同演繹一場獨特而令人印象深刻的精湛演出，保證值回票價！

在歷經國家震盪之後，葛莎雀吉對自身傳統文化十分珍視。她曾說：「在流亡的情勢下，圖博音樂已漸漸失去它應有的純度與傳統特質。我希望藉由我對圖博傳統音樂的關心，能夠喚起現今圖博年輕人對圖博傳統樂曲的覺醒。」

Description：

A Tibet traditional singer from Dharamsala, India ─ Kelsang Chukie Tethong, who graduated form “Tibetan Institute of Performing Arts “in exile and become a professional singer for traditional Tibetan music. She has performed in Europe, the United States, Taiwan and Hong Kong. She also sang for H.H. the Dalai Lama, and was hailed as the most excellent Tibetan female singer.

In this concert, the more performers are four professional dancer and musicians. Thubten Gyatso is a musician familiar with a full range of traditional Tibetan music. His performance has varied forms and works with musicians of different cultures. Chen Chieh Ting is a Dunhuang dancer, and two African drummers Duan Shi Tong and Chen Jin Hui, will join the performance. They will present a unique and impressive show of tibetan traditional music.

After being through the tragedy of her country, Kelsang Chukie Tethong treasures traditional Tibetan culture. She said, "We are in exile, the Tibetan music has gradually lost its original purity and traditional elements. I hope because of my concerns and efforts, Tibetan youth today will be inspired by the Tibetan traditional music again."
